The Danger of the Korean Conflict

Hey bloggers! This is your friendly neighborhood N.A.B.B tuning in! As many of you probably know, last post I decided to give my opinion about a topic that is of importance in our modern day society. For example, I decided to talk about my opinion about Facebook and other social networks. To be honest, I really enjoyed writing about my thoughts and feelings, rather than about others people’s blogs. So, I will be doing it more often (just giving you a head ups).  In this post, I wanted to express my deep concern about the dire situation both Korea’s are in.
Since 1953, when the Korean War came to an “end” (they technically came to an armistice), the peninsula of Korea has been divided on the 38th parallel. At the north is North Korean, which is a communist nation, and at the south is The Republic of Korea (the democratic country). For the past 50 years, both of these countries have lived at peace with each other. However, this week the armistice was clearly broken by North Korea, who fired artillery missiles to their neighbors. You might be asking yourself, why is this so important? Well, the problem is that in this situation two mayor powers have to take sides, China and USA. Unfortunately, in the Korean War, these two countries went all out against each other. If this happens again this year, it could literally mean the start of new mayor war, since these are the two toughest countries when it comes to their military.
Hopefully, the new leader of North Korea Kim Jong Un will eventually realize the damage he has done, and will attempt to fix it in the following days. I am positive that North Korea is well aware of the devastating effects that a new Korean War would have on today’s world. That is why the international community must come together in order to solve this issue.
Thanks for tuning in on N.A.B.B, I’ll keep in touch!
