Facebook and Chocolate: The truth

Hey bloggers! This is your friendly neighborhood N.A.B.B tuning in after a long, long time! Today as I sat staring at my computer screen, I had no idea about which blog to review. So, after I thought I had spent too much time feeling sorry for myself, I decided not to review a blog at all (I know, quite an epiphany, wasn’t it?). In fact, I have decided (by using this blog post) to give my opinion on what has become a huge aspect of the average teenager, social networking (pretty deep, right?!).
Nowadays, people check their Twitter, Facebook, and My Space more often than they check their own bank accounts. For most high scholars in my community, checking Facebook has become a part of their daily routine, and in fact, it is sometimes considered a higher priority than that of homework. I can understand why people enjoy checking their social networking pages, since they are a great way to catch up with old friends who are sometimes thousands of miles away. However, N.A.B.B feels that social networking has replaced the good old days when people met personally in order to discuss about their lives. You might be asking yourself, why N.A.B.B cares so much about this issue? Well, nowadays the international community is constantly complaining about the inactivity and, somewhat laziness, of our generation. Yet, they have never even stopped and wondered if Social networking could be causing problems such as obesity and bad grades.  Apart from this, Social Networks are used in many occasions to cyber bully individuals, and this sometimes results in depression and even death.
N.A.B.B is not asking the readers of this blog of this blog to stop using Facebook, My Space, and Twitter completely. In fact, it loves that these social networks allow individuals from all over the world to stay in contact with each other. What this blog in trying to state is that, in basic terms, Social Networks are like chocolate. Having chocolate once in a while can be great, however if you eat too much of it you will get a severe stomach ache. N.A.B.B sincerely hopes that all readers understand what it is trying to say, and that they will go to a park and play football more often. It is not that hard.
Thanks for tuning in on N.A.B.B, I’ll keep in touch (finally, time to check my Facebook!).
